I am about to move to Sacramento from San Francisco. I never really had to worry about extreme hear with cellaring beer before. I am moving into a larger 1 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend until December. Storage space is going to be an issue until then, so I can't buy a fridge or cellar for them until I move. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks

What are your options? The way I see it you only have some many.

    1) "Cellar" the beer in whatever space you have and hope for the best.
    2) Rent a climate controlled storage space.
    3) Drink the beer.

I mean what else could you possibly do?

I live in LA, in a 1 bedroom. I use the bottom cabinets in the kitchen to store my beer. The AC is only on when I'm home and too hot for comfort. I usually don't age more than a few beers for more than a year, and I haven't noticed any real issues yet (had a 1 year Rochefort 10 last week that was justtt fine).
