I know these are relatively new so there's probably not any time tested data out there, but I thought I would ask the community how you guys think how well crowlers will hold up to cellaring. I was just sent a few CCB crowlers, and while I don't think I'm going to age them it did make me stop to think about it. I am not actually sure exactly what process is even used to fill and seal them, so I have no clue if it would hold up similar to a swingtop or maybe even better. Thoughts?

Came in expecting to make funny comment on apparent typo, left with knowledge of fun new beer-to-go method.

Better than a growler as they have the same metal on metal crimped seal as a regular can, however they will have more dissolved oxygen in the beer itself as a result of filling it. CCB does purge with CO2 before filling but its not as good as something that was canned on a proper canning line. There is also a greater chance of infection since its being filled at the bar by human hands.

I would not cellar it but it should last you up to a month or two if you keep it cold.
