Any problem holding HF siasons in a beer fridge for several years without a dropoff in its exquisite quality?

I asked Shaun this exact question not long ago. He responded that his rule is to drink them no more than a year to 18 months beyond bottling. Direct from the Jedi himself. Cheers!

Do they need to be kept in a beer fridge at 50 degrees? I dont think so but I could be wrong..... I was under the impression if they are in the cellar they should be fine, again no more than 12-18 months. It gets to be about 68 in my basement I figure I should be ok...

All I know is that 2012 Anna at the 4th Anniversary party was heavenly.

I just drank an Arthur from fall of 2012 the other day and it was fantastic.

Anna and Arthur both age extremely well. I'd actually drink his stouts fresh.

I like the saisons about 6 months to a year old, although the new batch of Arthur and Le Sarrasin are both fantastic right out of the gate. I also like the stouts fresh. Don't really know how one would go several years...serious willpower.

Thoughts on Norma? I only got one bottle of b2, never got b1. Wondering if I should drink it.

We cracked open a B2 Norma a few months ago - it was drinking very nice. Also cracked open a B3 (the latest batch) - good but needs a few month.

Good to know...just realized my error, I've got a bottle of b3, not b2. My mistake, thought there were only 2 batches.

I agree with the 12-18 month advice.
We have shared several vintages of Arthur, Anna, and Vera Mae.
I would say all age well, Vera Mae takes on a whole new feel with a year at cellar temp.

    Cheers
