Exactly what it says. I was recently given 2 bottles and I have a tradition of drinking two on Thanksgiving night (to kick off the season) and Christmas night (to end it). So I don't want to drink them now. They are going to sit in my cellar (very dark, between 55 and 65 all year). Anyone ever done this before? Was it good? Did it even matter at all?
    Thanks.

For the love of God, don't.

I don't imagine it would hold up very well, and it is not something I would try, personally. The good news is it is cheap enough to experiment with, if you decide to give it a go. I would suggest lowering your expectations, though. Good luck!

Just an update: It was fantastic and I loved it. I would describe it as "everything you like about the beer, but just a little better." I had a 2015 and I feel like it doesn't even compare. I'll be aging some every year for sure.

I have custom cellar with reasonable temperature control and no light. So far I've had good luck with everything I've kept in there.
