Cellaring Rasputin XIV?

    Ive had it temp controlled the entire time but I'm not sure I should keep cellaring it. I've seen a lot of people saying that Barrel aged beers lose their barrel flavors after long cellaring, is that true?

    yes & no. to me it depends on what you mean. i feel like it loses real alcohol/spirit flavor & maybe just slightly some of the wood vanillan. fwiw, i'm still popping XII's & every time we do, the comments are generally: these are drinking well, just about ready, they'll be great in 6 mos to year etc. but i'm sure some people will describe them as fallen off a steep cliff by now. to each their own.
