Im pretty sure the Big Sound Bourbon was bottled previously, but not sure about the Rum. Curious of any experiences, thoughts with cellaring these versus drinking them on the sooner side. Thanks!

Bourbon Big Sound was drinking pretty good around November. The Rum was bottled. The Rum one I had in November was infected. I wonder if it was the whole batch or just a few bottles.

Haven't heard of a non-infected Rum BS in this batch and I believe this was acknowledged by CCB. At this point, I'm guessing my infected bottle is aging nicely in my cellar ;(

Well thats a bummer. No offer by CCB to offer refunds or anything for that, huh. Thanks for the info.

There was a blog post by CCB about refunds or exchanges a few months back.
