Between the two, which is better to cellar? Also, does anyone have a peak-age for either beer or have an experience with them really falling-off after a certain point? Thanks!

Have yet to have any with age. Don't want to thread-jack but am also wondering about Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti.

IMHO - Don't cellar Chocolate or Espresso. They are better fresh. Both Oaked and regular Yeti are good to cellar but regular Yeti benefits the most from aging.

Yeah I drank all my espresso fresh. What differences have you noticed in aged yeti versus oak aged yeti?

I've found the oaked yeti already has quite a bit of the toffee and raisin that regular yeti takes a while to develop. Oaked mellows a bit but I didn't notice as much development over the course of a year compared to regular yeti.

I recently had an Oak-aged that was aged about 1.5 yrs. Definitely get toffee. Smelled and tasted sweet chocolate milk. Still had that roasty-ness to it. Enjoyed it more than fresh.

Great thread as I was thinking about drinking my Oaked tomorrow for the first time. I've had all the other variants including the barrel aged (which is awesome), so I'm excited for this one. I think mine has about 6 months on it.

I had '09 Choc Yeti on tap at Great Divide last year and it was fantastic. The chocolate was really coming through.

I have a few bottles of the last years BA release and while it is still delicious, the barrel is starting to fade.
