Based on some of the news headlines I have read...no...no it is not smarter than standing in line for 2 hours for beer. At least standing most of what would happen was just that person getting tired and then opting to sit down...whereas hunting pokemon has ppl falling off cliffs and walking into traffic.

Touché, Reaper. I was really trying to say that while some people think it's idiotic to hunt Pokemon, some people think it's idiotic to stand hours in line for beer. I just never understand why some people poo-poo others for things like that. Human nature I guess.

    So...

How about that Hop Stuff? I was shocked at how good it was, considering they released it alongside Are You Afraid of the Dank?... among the best 5 Cellarmaker brews I've had. I need to go back tomorrow to get some more.

I've walked over 75km in the app since I started a couple weeks ago. You've stood in line and drunk beer. Calorie-wise, I'm winning.

Actually I have not stood in line, just giving the example of each. I also don't need an app to walk around, I kinda just do it because it is relaxing when I had a rather frustrating work day. Oh, and the gym.

I've trained at tons of gyms all around town and won many gym battles.

Dobis Plus is on, anyone tried Funk Juice? I like Brett IPAs.

    Funk Juice*
This beer is hopped aggressively with Australian Galaxy and lightly with New Zealand Motueka & American Equinox. Aromas & flavors of unripe strawberries & kiwi. Brett IPA ~ 6.5 % ABV / 43 IBU

Yes, I really enjoyed it - more hoppy than funky, but the Brett added a really nice touch. I visited there from So Cal last week and was really impressed (like I was last time I visited) with everything I tried, especially the hoppy beers. I brought a couple of growlers back home, but unfortunately TSA opened the Hop Stuff growler (I guess the stainless growlers covered in blue tape looked suspicious in my luggage), so I had to drink it right when I got home (which was probably what I was going to do anyways).

Most useless agency ever. They only (negatively) affect the lives of law abiding citizens. Hope you enjoyed the hell out of that beer though.

I've travelled many a times with my SS growler for fills to bring back (or take over) and never had any issue with TSA. I will take tie's with me and tie wrap the lid shut. Boxed up cans/bottles and check em in with no issues.

How did you know they opened the growlers? I recently traveled with two growlers. I drank them a couple days after being filled. One was great the other had really gone bad. Makes me wonder if they had been opened. I don't recall if I zip tied them or not...

Because Cellarmaker tied a string around the top (which you would have to break in order to open it), and the one that was opened didn't have the string (and TSA put a pre-printed note in my luggage saying that they went through the luggage).

Hop Stuff is incredible. I hope they bring that one back again and even better, bottle it.

“Tiny Dankster” Pale Ale is a scaled down version of our “Original Dankster” Double IPA. The hop profile is heavy on Nelson Sauvin hops with a good amount of Mosaic and Citra as well. Intense notes of pineapple, apricot, ripe papaya and slight diesel. Hold me closer Tiny Dankster!

This is going to be released on a Thursday instead of our usual Tuesday release day. Had to do with scheduling of the bottling line. Not something we can do on the regular as the bottles take up a lot of space (even when they’re empty) so releases will revert back to Tuesdays after this one. Just in time for Labor Day weekend!

Release Date: Thursday, September 1st at 2pm.
    Price: $8 (tax+crv included)
    Bottle Limit: 6
