For me, the sweetspot has been between 4-6p, which falls between the shitlords who line up at lunch and the hipsters who pre-game before dinner.

Can anyone report from heading out there? Seems like lots of bottles?

Wow, very few people compared to previous releases. Maybe it's the Thursday release. Maybe it's the long weekend. Who knows, but I actually got to hang out at the bar for 2 hours. Pretty fun times!

They tweeted out 50 cases left a little while ago.

Could Burning Man be the reason that not many people are there?

That would be Connor the co-owner.

Pretty chill release. Got there around 12 and was first in line.

As of 5:30 down to 20 cases, I'm sure they will still sell out today.

Just got back, Imperial Coffee & Cigs, No Nelson Left Behind, and Double Moonage. CM is killing it this week. Double Moonage is some damn good juice.

Awesome list this week, steadily increasing prices starting to get a bit annoying. Double Moonage 1L at $17 and 2L at $27, and Imperial Coffee & Cigs $38 for a 2L! Was trying to cut down on trading for local (live 2 blocks away and have bought roughly 200 growlers), but it's getting a bit much.

Cellarmaker's pricing has always been high but tolerable because of the quality of the beer. However, I remember when 64oz growler fills for most beers were $18 and I thought that was high, but acceptable. Now? Idk, I rarely bother to fill a growler because it's basically the same cost per oz as in the taproom. That being said: I can't wait to get to the taproom this weekend to try Double Moonage and this year's Green Knuckle.

I'm thinking the price of the 2L Coffee and Cigarettes is kind of a bargain for a really good imperial coffee porter. Three bottles of Mocha Machine would cost you $48.

not only have their prices been going up, but they've been making more and more pale ales in the passed 6 months or so. Seems like an easy way to pump out consistent beer, charge a premium.

Back when they first opened they were doing a ton of experimental stuff. Maybe the high ABV stuff is too much of strain on them financially now. That, or they are saving beers like Blammo, Dank Statement, etc., for bottle releases in the future.

I agree. Tap list is pretty good right now but a few weeks ago there were 5 or 6 pales on tap. That's a bit excessive and supports your point. I really hope they bottle Dank Statement, though I asked Connor during the Double Dobis release if they were planning to bottle it and he said they don't have label art for it yet. Green Knuckle is on tap for $8 a pint...which is what it was last year. But it got me thinking...Born Yesterday is coming soon at 10 to 12 a sixer. Now I know that comparing Lagunitas and Cellarmaker is sort of crazy, Lagunitas has always set the standard with Sierra Nevada for price points...but...the thought lingers in the back of my mind.

Their pales are priced less than their IPAs/DIPAs, so I'm not entirely sure why the conspiracy theories?

I actually generally prefer their Pales over their IPAs. Sometimes they knock their IPAs/DIPAs out of the park (Are You Afraid of the Dank, Get Off My Lawn (Batch 1), Hop Stuff), but more often than not, they're a miss for my tastes.

I'm sensing Highway to the Dankerzone as the next release.

    That Double Moonage is incredible.

Highway is on the coming soon board as is dank statement (yay!!!!) which is unsurprising given upcoming 3rd anniversary. Green knuckle, hop slangin, moonage, and impy coffee and cigs all tasting delicious.
