You're right! We can't even reach stroller level shitlordery since CM is 21+. :slight_frown:

This better not be the new normal...

I'm hopeful that this insanity is temporary based on the fact that it's SFBW and the beer in question is a collaboration with breweries with the highest haze juice cachet. I'd expect things to go back to normal after this.

Maybe we're the ones with something to learn, not CM.

Nah, their previous releases were very smooth and quick. I'm assuming they moved the bottle station to the other door to allow more people visiting for SFBW, but that was a mistake.

That has to be the fastest any of their bottles have sold out and even more amazing considering how slow the line was moving.

Got in line at 1:50 around the corner on 8th St. - got my bottles at I think 3:40 or so.

Then went inside to have a few, judging by when the tweet went out, I'd venture to say anyone in line by probably 2:30 or so didn't get shut out.

Haven't cracked a bottle yet but the glass I had inside the tasting room was incredible. One of my favorite CM beers I've ever tasted.

I don't think this will be the new normal for their bottle releases, I think without the other big named breweries on it - future bottle releases will look much more like the ones they've done thus far - where there's a little wait at first, but you can also show up at 5pm and grab bottles w/o a wait - but we shall see I guess.

I'm hoping next release is a Pale Ale, so all the damn trade baiters will stay home.

I fully think this is the case, take trillium and oh off the label and it would not be nearly as long of a line. I got there real early (knowing the hype of this release) around 1145 ,only about 15 ahead of me, the line grew very fast after 1230pm. Very good beer though.

My friend was in line at 3:55 and was 10 people short as a baseline for timing today. It opened just before 2pm so it was pretty realistic for a release of this notoriety.
CM did a good job for the turnout. We all know how small it is.
Extra cashier would help and cash goes fast!

Damn good beer, the mouth feel is great, anyone who waited in line shouldn't be disappointed.

I'm hoping it's still up on the board today.

Beer is great. Anyone who didn't expect this release to be huge, I don't know what to tell ya. I think CM handle this release just fine.

Why hello there. English yeast + Cellarmaker = Dank Milkshake.

It feels incredibly thick and creamy for a hoppy beer.

OH man was just there.... Love that creamy mouthfeel, one sip, and I'm like. Crowlered!!! Also, that name is just too cool for school.

That juicy gymnastics is tasty too, btw.

I guess Monkish has all the 90s rap name beers. Cellarmaker can go 80s.

I got in line about 2:30, maybe 20 people around the corner down 8th st. I got my bottles around 4:30, and there were 3 cases left. I'd guess that 50+ people didn't get bottles.

IMO, the fact that City Beer store did a release at Noon helped exacerbate this sale. People went there, got their bottles, maybe got a bite of food, and got in line at CM.

Obviously, having OH and Trillium on the label was the driving factor.

Only having 1 person taking money really drove the slowdown. Guh.

Got a chance to drink it this afternoon. Very tasty beer. Wish they did fills but given my can/bottle backlog, I don't feel too much of a loss. I'm sure next week there'll be some Alvarado St beer that'll continue this cycle.

Juice Gymnastics bottle says to have within 21 days but I expect those numbers to be a bit conservative. Any chance this holds to late March? Gonna meet up with some family then I want to share this.
