Cellarmaker to start bottling.

Anyone else see the huge new fermenter in the back? I can't believe they fit it in there!
With that and the new barrel house I'm hoping the board will remain full and releases will get more frequent

 

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned Tuesday's canning yet.

I've unfortunately got a lot of work commitments that day, so I may very well miss this.

 

Hoping it's on-par or a little mellower than the last double can release. We shall see.

On a different Cellarmaker note, just looked at the current tap list and pretty crazy that there's just one IPA and no Double IPA's on right now.

There's an IPA, a Double IPA, and a Pale on the Coming Soon [2 of which are the cans] but still, can't remember the last time they had just 1 IPA or Double IPA on the beer board.

 

Ha - and just got a push on a tweet that they just added an IPA to the board - statement no longer applies

 

So, so bummed this wasn't a week earlier. Been in the bay area almost a week and had nothing on the board that I desire, then they go and release my favorite of their beers (Double Moonage) in cans three days after I'm leaving. The beer gods play some cruel games with our emotions.

 

That can release is going to be an absolute mess.

 

I was debating heading over to Cellarmaker in a bit, but not if I'm going to wait in line for over an hour and not get cans. Anybody there yet?

 

If you're in the initial line then I don't think you'll have any problem. I'm not planning on getting in line until 1:30.

Slightly faster too. Think I'll get beer in 45 mins total.

 

Definitely mellow. One of the quietest lines ever. Very fast too, good job CM.

 

Yeah it was great today. Got there at 1:30 and had my beer by 2:15. Can't wait to crack the double moonage. I haven't had it in over a year and it's one of my highest rated Cellarmaker beers.

 

Elijah, I think you need to retract your absolute mess comment. Got there at 3:45, maxed out with no line, had two beers and left by 4:30.

 

Retracted. Pleasantly surprised. I think I like DM more than Dobis. Getting an anise/liquorice note from the DM, especially when it warms up.

 

Ha, thanks. Cracked a can of dobis last night and thought it was tasting great. Had DM on draft only and thought it finished a little harsh (but was still delicious). Probably will wait until next week to pop those cans.

 

We should've made another thread called "Cellarmaker to start canning", with the hopeful next iteration "Cellarmaker to start crowlering" then "Cellarmaker to start expanding" and lastly the moonshot "Cellarmaker to start shipping to your doorstep"

 

Guess this one hasn't hit this thread yet 'cause it's not hoppy beers - but I for one am psyched to try both of these.
