Precious Oils is quite good. I love what ASB does with IPLs, and they handled the wet hops well. A good beer to start the wet hop season.

One of the few I missed since it was delivered on Wednesday. Thanks for the reply, now enough with the Alvarado talk in the CM thread.

Haha, like I told the guys at CBS: "I'm only buying two cans of this because I'd rather go buy Double Dobis and Mt. Nelson..."

I must say, the Mt. Nelson cans are still a little more bitter and a little less piney than the bottles from the release earlier this year. Was hoping they'd get a little better with a couple weeks if aging. They aren't bad, but just not what I was hoping for. That last batch was my favorite pale ale by rating on my spreadsheet, so I'm a little disappointed.
I'll wait another week before opening the next one..

Ok guys, I'm not sure if you have any Double Dobis cans left, but I have determined that RIGHT NOW is peak DD drinking time. I maxed out and have been having one every 5 days or so and this is the best can by far. My next two probably won't last the weekend lol

As for the Mt Nelson cans, I'm hoping the one I crack tonight is also at peak goodness. Otherwise I might have to consider this batch a "not success".

I agree about DD and Mt. Nelson. The can I had this week that was tasting excellent. Mt. Nelson has been just ok so far.

I must say this can release could not be better timed for me. I have a mandatory conference call from noon to 2. Figure I'll just sit in the Cellarmaker line during a lovely day while I listen in, rather than in a boring coffee shop like I normally would :-)

Just to confirm, the last Wicked Juicy was not Double Dry Hopped, but this one is...but the label is the same?

Cellarmaker responded to that question and said that this batch has more dry hopping than previous batches. But yeah, it does look like the label is exactly the same.

Good, I didn't buy the previous cans because they weren't dry hopped enough.

It was pretty hot out there, but the 75 minutes or so in line flew by. Had my cans by 1:48, before my conference call was even technically over lol.

There were plenty of Highway to the Dankerzone cans available yesterday (Thursday) in the afternoon. Cracked one open today and have to say that I am impressed. West Coast style double IPA (e.g., Pliny the Elder) that is very smooth and tasty despite the alcohol levels (8.4%). Wish I could go back today and get some more (limit is two four-packs per visit).

Only did one four pack of Danker Zone because I thought the bottled batch was just ok, but this canned batch was incredible, I probably enjoyed it more than DDH Wicked Juicy.
