Never hurts to set up an in person trade beforehand

First can release in a while I won't be participating in. Not sure I feel about a Quadruple IPA...even if my wife hadn't put the kibosh on weeknight drinking at home, I'm not sure I'd get anything more than a can of two.

I'll try to hit the brewery at some point just to try the releases.

Yeah, I'm more into Pales than doubles. But Lil' Bitsssss was pretty good and Quad Dobis was good for what it was. Quad Dobis wasn't the same juice bomb that the 2016 Beer Week version was though. Both beers were more West Coast-y, which isn't a bad thing. Just different.

Didn't try Quad Dobis, but Lil' Bits wasn't particularly hazy or fruit tasting. Was still a great DIPA, but wasn't what I was expecting based on the description.

Per Cellarmaker's FB, plenty QD cans are still available. I may have to run over and pick some up after work.

I took a late lunch and got there right at 3 (opening). It was not that busy when I walked in, but a minute later a huge line formed behind me. Picked up 2 4-packs of Quad Dobis. From my estimation there were about 4-packs behind the counter, but I can't tell if they had more in back.

*40 4-packs (It would not let me edit the previous message.)

So Orange Julian was tapped yesterday. I was at CM at noon today, and no, it's not NE style like the last batch, but it's not WC clear either. It's Cellarmaker opaque, and double dry-hopped, and super tasty. I definitely like it more than the two cans that were released.

I missed Orange Julian the last time around. Need to make sure I get it this time

I just remember growler fills were done by Saturday at opening the last two times for Orange Julian.

Orange Julian wasn't on the growler fill list for me when I stopped by on Saturday, but I enjoyed the glass I had. Lighter in body compared to full on NE style haze, which I greatly enjoyed.

Also surprised the Quad Dobis cans lasted to Saturday. Or maybe I should, because that is super high abv, not too boozy when cool/cold, but the alcohol was felt after finishing a can.

I was in the area Saturday morning and decided to check their site before opening and the growler icon had already been removed from OJ.

Has Cellarmaker always had such a large bottling setup?

Sweet! The Glow is one of my favs.

Don't get their IG post about bottles though... is that going to be 2nd December release?

Yeah, I'm not sure what that bottle post is about. I'm guessing it's another beer they haven't announced a release of yet (more Lost Wisdom? something else?). The post on their site explicitly mentions The Glow and Double Moonage are canned, so it doesn't seem like it's those.

I think the bottles will be something new, their shape seems different than past bottle releases.

Well don't forget that we're expecting the Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Evil Spread to drop this month too... that'd be an interesting one to bottle.

Had Riff Raff and Major Hazer and while Riff Raff was Mad Decent, I prefer Major Lazer. Coffee and Cigs is still tasting delicious.
