Yeah, got there around 3 yesterday and no line whatsover. Maybe people don't like Pales as much as DIPAs?

I don't normally like Nelson Sauvin, but I tried a half pint of it and I thought it was delicious!

Certainly an APA is going to be less sought after than a DIPA, but I think a bigger factor is the fact that there was no need to line up with the information that they had bottles the next day for the first release. According to their twitter, they have 300 bottles left for today. There's no need to line up, but people still will.

not sure about that. i showed up for Dank Williams at 3:05 PM release day, was done in less than 3 minutes. just about 1 of those minutes was wasted on ole girl seemed outdone i only wanted a single bottle. place was packed though. obviously there'd been a line. wife went for me day before yesterday about 3:30PM, possibly got Brent212's space when he left. but she said the dude checking the ID said she showed up at the perfect time, the rush subsided. there were 2 buyers ahead and she was done in 5 min. just sounds like 3-4PM is the time to hit it.

I had my first Mt Nelson bottle yesterday and it was well carbonated, unlike the Dank Williams run.

Its an incredible beer too. Very hazy and booking with hops.

I've been a Cellarmaker fanboy for awhile. Most of my wardrobe consists of a Cellarmaker shirts mixed with the crimson cellarmaker hoodie. Kind of weird, but I have yet to have Mt. Nelson.

It will be interesting to see what they decide to bottle.

These are some of the big boys from them that would garner HUGE crowds/ trade bait of bottled.

    1. Double Dobis/ Triple Dobis (it'll happen!!)
    2. Dank Series IIPa's (Cellarmaker IIPAs are the shit, any in the "dank" will do)
    3. Bourbon Vastness of Space
    4. Bourbon Imp Coffee and Cigs
    5. Coffee and sigs/ Imp or not
    6. BLAMMO!!!! (bring blammo back, barrel treatment or not... shit)

Agreed, it's about time to see a new batch of Blammo! I would like to see a bottled Moonage Daydream or Permanent Daylight. I could see them bottling regular Coffee and Cigs but probably not Imperial.

I was there Thursday and grabbed a couple bottles of Mt Nelson. Alpha Redux was my runaway fav for all the beers I tried. Imperial coffe and cigs was second by a wide margin after that.

I'm assuming some of their beers are "regulars" in that they have them on tap permantly/semi-permantly, but for the others, how long do they typically last before it's gone? I saw they just put one called Sabrosa out, sounds similar to Xocoveza, so I'd like to go get a growler this weekend, if it's still there.

i don't see that (Sabrosa) listed on their board. also, not everything on tap is sold by the growler. iirc, only the selections with an * next to their listing are available to go. i could be wrong tho'.

No permanent ones and really not many beers that come back more regularly than once a quarter or so. Depends on the beer, usually on for 10-14 days and growlers available for 3-4 days if they allow them, obviously depends on popularity, supply and their other releases. My guess is that growlers of Sabrosa will be through Friday at least and then will depend on supply left for the rest of the weekend.

Woah, I checked their menu a couple hours ago and Sabrosa wasn't there.

I think I know what I'm doing tomorrow...

It tastes exactly like Xocoveza minus the coffee and slightly less heat. It's delicious.

yea it is pretty darn good. I would have prefered a stronger base than a porter but it is full flavor and drinkable. hopefully they make a BBA Imperial Sabrosa soon
