Read some great reviews on their brews. Do they bottle?

    Cheers.

A very quick google search shows that their first bottle release was back in July of this year. So they have bottled but I would bet a few pints that their entire list of offerings are not even close to being bottled.

Only IPAs and pale ales I buy now are growlers from cellarmaker....and we have a lot of great IPAs on the west coast.

I heard from one of the brewers there that they will be bottling a Jim-Bean barrel aged version "The Vastness of Space".

Their anniversary pale ale was one of the best beers I've had all year-it might have been the best. Very impressed with what I've had from them so far.

They have only bottled Jezebel so far though barrel aged Vastness should be coming up for a bottle release in the next few months. It's probably going to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

I have a hophead buddy in NH and we swap boxes of VT goodness and growlers of CM. I'm sure if you are interested, you will find a buddy in SF in no time. Cellarmaker's the real deal if you what you look for in hoppy ales include big juicy hop bombs with little to no bitterness. In your region, their stuff is closer to HF, Fiddlehead, Trillium, Treehouse... If you have had other CA hop kings, they compare closer to Alpine, Societe, or maybe Beachwood.

Place is awesome and they've only released one bottle so far. Growler fills are the sure shot.

We are lucky to get kegs of Cellarmaker down here in Santa Cruz. Their hoppy beers are legit.

    Did it give you wood?

I enjoyed some Blammo yesterday (with the above BA i think). It is probably both the least sweet/rich and least boozy of the +14% stouts i have had. Great balance and restraint on their part. I can't say much oak or coconut came through, but probably just enough to lightly sweeten it up to the dangerously drinkable level. I actually would have preferred a little abv heat and some bourbon notes, but i apprecciate that this wasnt the vanilla extract bomb that BOMB and BCBS can be, nor is it boozy diabetes mud like BT. Perhaps using toasted and raw coconut was key to its subtle presence.

It didn't give me wood, but it was indeed tits.

The tits don't give you wood?

    (I think there's a pill for that)
