I am not talking about this years infected Peruvian Morning. I am talking about my go to stout Satin Solstice... I had a 6 from april which was great and I finished it and got a 6 from july that is not the same beer at all. Wondering if anyone has noticed this with Satin Solstice.

Also I am not trying to detract from this brewery they are one of my favorites and their Bourbon Barrel Barleywine is still my favorite big beer.

Is it bad or just different?

I've noticed quite a bit of variation in both thier BA stout and BA Barleyine. This is true of my own personal stash, purchased at the Anniversairy party, and those bought at bars around town.

Always different... Never bad, although I CAN say, many are simply amazing!

Drinking Solstice as I write this. Has an off taste to me and I'm not wanting more. Their beers have been a disappointment to me so far. I'm hoping to find at least one I like that they brew.

Tried my first bottle of satin solstice back in june/july as part of a mix six...always love CW stouts, but that one was a miss for me. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
