Is the 2017 versions label saying it's from 2016? In central wisconsin I've only found ones with the label saying 2016, but all the cw bb quad out now says 2017 and I thought they both came out around the same time......
Good question. I buy it from 2 different stores and at one the label is ticked 2017 however from the other store its ticked 2016. Now the 2nd store does have a tendency to hold on to CWBB stuff so it wouldn't surprise me if it was in fact 2016. The 2017 does kinda taste "fresher" to me so I just assumed this was the case. Maybe tag Ryan from CW, perhaps he would know for sure. On some you can see the bottling date. 17717. But on others its worn off already or wasn't dated. That also seems strange. Doesn't really help when it washes off so easy. And where are you seeing BB Quad was released for 2017? As far as im aware it hasn't been yet. They just released BB Cherry stout a week or two ago. Have not heard anything about BB quad yet this year.
Ya I know, but that schedule is off on almost all of the BB releases. Cassian came out last month etc. Haven't seen any new BB Quad up here in CW at my stores. But judging by releases this year you guys down there are getting it before we get it up here 20 miles from the brewery. lol
When I get home tonight I'll check my bottles of BB scotch again. Pretty sure the ones ticked 2017 have a 17717 bottling date on them. The 2016 bottles I could not see a date or it was rubbed off.
I don't care for it that much. I was just pointing out that it seems the south is getting it before we do up here.
