What's the price and availability of this one? Someone sent me a couple as extras recently, I was completely floored by its awesomeness. Does it linger on shelves, or is it a hot commodity? Price? Packaging (4-pack, single, etc.)?

What's the trade value typically for these? Would Wake N Bake be a comparable trade?

I think Wake N Bake would be fairly comparable, though I do know that the CW brew hung around in Chicago for a little while. And I agree, it is definitely an excellent beer!

Its still on the shelf in Chicago. I think its $10 a 4 pack.

Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter would get people to move with a trade

$10.99/4 pack here in the Twin Cities. Central Waters made a ton more this year, so where it was harder to come by last year, it's been around for a while now, which has been great. Shouldn't be too tough to come by via trade.

Thanks for the info guys. I tossed a trade offer up, so we'll see if I get any nibbles. This beer seriously impressed me -- so drinkable and balanced. I thought the bourbon notes blended expertly with the base flavors.

ive seen it around in philly, but at double the cost since you have to buy singles at a bottle shop. very delicious beer though.

Whoooosh...crickets from my trade offer in the ISO:FT forum. Is this really hanging around on shelves? Or does this beer command a bit more in trades than projected?

Yup, still on shelves around here. Give it a little time. Might help if you link to your gots, or give people a few more things you'd be willing to trade. Make it easy for someone!

I'd send out some duck rabbit Baltic Porter for CW BBa stout. I also got one as an extra and was blown away. If anyone is interested message me.

EDIT: I misread it as the barleywine.

It is still widely available. If you really want some, try expanding the trade to include more on both ends.

In chicago area and wisconsin this beer flies off the shelves in a week. If you don't get that week it hits shelves...I just wait till next year. I bought 3 cases worth of the CW beers this year. Crazy part is...I have only one 12 oz bottle of perivan morning left from 3 cases!

I agree completely. I was stunned by how good it was. I know a "91" is nothing to sneeze at, but it seems to me like it should be even higher. The flavors are blended wonderfully.

I've seen all of them from $11.99 - $14.99 - just saw them at the high end today. So yeah, certainly possibly someone paid that for a four pack. I'd do it all day long. Oh, wait, I do whenever I get the chance.
