<----- I may appear to be biased, but...

Mudpuppy Porter and Satin Solstice are excellent as far as year round beers.

When I think mediocre year rounds with good limiteds, I need not go further than The Bruery.

100% agreed on The Bruery. There are plenty of breweries that make killer seasonals & nothing special in their day-to-day lineup.

I wouldn't quite put Central Waters in that boat, as I do enjoy Mudpuppy & Satin Solstice, but I'd love to see them step up on the Happy Heron & IPA. That would, in my mind, bring them close to being an all-around elite brewery.

Ouisconsing isn't too shabby either. I do wish the Glacial Trail was better though; haven't really had an IPA from WI that has really wow'd me too much.

granted its a double, I'm quite a fan of Illumination. but again, its not a regular.

Oh yeah, I really like Illumination; too bad it's not a year-round one (though I understand why).

Really cannot wait for Hopsessional to be bottled next year.

I had a bottle of the Bourbon Barrel Stout a few days ago, so damn good!

BBBW is absolutely outstanding. And BBS is top notch too. I was fortunate to only drink Peruvian Morning fresh this year, so it was excellent as well.

CW BBBW is perhaps my favorite Barleywine to date so far. If you love bourbon you will love this - it is VERY present.

Nice to see some love for one of my two favorite breweries! BBBW is my favorite beer of all time. As far as the year rounds go Satin Solstice is a great stout and at 6.99 a 6 it is a freekin insane bargain!

I posted on their FB page about getting no response and they emailed me within 2 hours...."they will be sending out all requested settlements after they have closed the comment period for PM. This can be expected to be in the next few months."

They are making good on their promises, just taking some time, while brewing and serving world class brew....

Solstice is a good stout, forgot about that one. The pale ale, red and IPA need a lot of work though. I tried the Octoberfest and Hefe, which were pretty forgetable as well. There arent many places in MN that even carry ANY of the year rounds from CW anymore, as they just didnt sell. I did grab a six of the pale for 4.99 a bit ago, which was a nice deal, but no way i would buy at the more typical 8.99 around here.

Other than them lying to me about the legality of just sending me a refund check? And the fact that in MN it is illegal for them to send a coupon?

They have stated I will get a refund check but it will be in a few months. really not impressed with that compared to Boulevard who got me a check within a couple weeks when I bought a bottle of their chocolate ale that was bad.

I like their beer, have a 4 pack of BBS and BBBW in the cellar, and have gone through and reccomended to others more than my share of Soltice and Mudpuppy, but not happy with the way they are doing business right now.
