From their Facebook page today- "Construction has started today...doubling the barrel aging warehouse!!" Awesome news
Nice! I snagged a bottle of Peruvian Morning via trade at the KBS Release and absolutely loved it! I really wish they'd distribute to the Murder Mitten.
Saw this earlier, very good news, though there seems to be a flood of all their barrel aged beers in Milwaukee anyway. No complaints here!
Awesome news! Maybe they will be aging some new beers in barrels? In case Paul and the guys want some ideas... BA Illumination rebrew 1414, maybe throw some in brandy or cognac barrels? Sours? BA Eisbock Brandy Barleywine more sours?
Good news, although BBS and Peruvian Morning haven't been hard to get here at all, I totally missed out on BBBW.
BBBW requires a little more work but it can still be found.... BBBW requires a little more work but it can still be found....
Great news. I hope they continue to fill out their current distribution network, BBBW was gone way too fast in Minnesota! Maybe the most underrated barrel-aging program in the country.
Drinkin a BBIS, right now, and it is smaller than many others in the category but absolutely as flavorful as any.
Cherry stout definitely takes a back seat to Peruvian morning, barrel stout and bbbw, but by no means can it be considered a bad beer IMO. I like 1414 the best of anything they have done though. All their beers are very solid with distinct thinner bodied characteristics, none as good as Goose barrel beers, but all solid offerings none the less! Sorry for thread jack.
