    Morning all!

I searched - went through a few pages of results without much luck.

I could phone first, but what fun would that be.

I'm going camping in the UP next weekend, driving up through Wisconsin. I would love to stop by CW and pick up some 16, plus some drinkers for the weekend.

Is that really only an option 3-10 on Fr/Sa?

The plan was (is) to head out very early on Friday - I should be long-past Amherst at 3pm.

Thanks in advance for any answers!

I do not think there is any 16 left.

It gets pretty crazy there on Friday and Saturday. They do have a food truck now on those days, which is awesome and you can roam around outside with your beer.

I was there about a month ago and picked up some 16. Not sure if they have any left now. Space Ghost was long gone, which was a bummer.

I would highly recommend modifying your schedule so that you can go. It's an awesome brewery. Also try to make the 5pm tour. The barrel room is pretty damn impressive.

Let us know how the visit goes. I am trying to justify a 3 hr drive to the middle of nowhere, WI to my wife currently:grinning:

Stevens Point isn't too far from there and there are a few breweries worth checking out in that area. It's also worth taking the short detour north of Amherst to stop at Neuske's in Wittenberg and pick up the world's best bacon. I spend more money there than at the breweries. :grinning:

My Dad's family is actually from Amherst, so I am trying the "nostalgia" angle first but will add yours to that to make the potential to stick improved! Thanks!

In theory I think you could do cw, point, and oso all in one day on a Friday or Saturday depending on when tours are. I've been wanting to attempt that myself. I'm sure it's well worth the trip or make a weekend out of it

Super service, super service - they responded almost instantly with the below:

We do still have a limited supply of 16 available at the brewery. You can stop in to purchase 16 and 6 packs for the road Mon - Fri between 8am and 4pm. If you want to visit and have a few pints and purchase beer to go then you would need to come after 3pm on Friday or Saturday. We don't serve pints during the day

I stopped at Central Waters on Friday evening, and they had Exodus on tap. No Growlers.

Not sure if this is the place to do this so I apologize in advance if this is not proper etiquette. I verified with CW this morning that they still have 16 available at the brewery. I wanted to reach out to see go there is anyone in proximity to the brewery that would be willing to swing by and pick some up. I have plenty of SC/NC goodies to trade. Thanks in advance.

I'd love an answer from them on how much exactly...or approximately.

Seemed like there were 400-500 people at the anniversary party (at least) so I"ll bet they moved 2,500-3,500 bottles that day alone. I'm sure they brewery-only availability and $15 price tag (well worth it) are what keeps this beer around up there. Most of the locals/Wisconsin folks bought their bottles in January and haven't gotten through them yet (myself included).

Even if they only brewed 4,000-5,000 bottles- that is a massive amount of high quality BA-Imperial Stout. Kudos to them for not deciding to distribute.

^ I can tell you there were 3200-3500 people at the Anniversary party, and the total output of 16 was something like 5-6 times the amount of 15 that was brewed.

Holy cow. All I know is that it looked like a lot of people, especially for a negative-degree January day.
