I'm flying back to WI for an alumni event this weekend. Going to be in Milwaukee and Oshkosh over the next few days. Any of the CW Brewer's reserve series still floating around?

There are a few Scotch Ales in my fridge... not much on the shelves that I've seen.

Your best bet might be smaller shops. You're going to be pretty close to CW itself- might be worth calling them up to see if they have any. It's doubtful. But they just might have some of the Rye BA Chocolate Oatmeal Porter bottles. Those would be worth the drive.

In Milwaukee, Otto's on Oakland miiiiight have singles of Barleywine left.

Don't pass up any Black Husky that you see.

I have been looking around myself and coming up empty around Milwaukee. Had to have a few from my cellar last weekend since I couldn't make it up to the party and grab some Sixteen and Chocolate Porter.

Headless Heron will be in liquor stores here in Stevens Point on Friday. $6.99 per 22 oz bomber. It's a pumpkin ale aged in bourbon barrels.

I just saw some bourbon barrel barley wine at rileys in downtown Madison so there may be some elsewhere. Might be some bourbon barrel scotch ale around

I'd love to head to the brewery, but on this trip it just isn't in the cards.... will have to wait until I'm back for Christmas. But, at least at that point I can stock up on BB Stout.

I know I've seen BA Cherry Stout someplace recently. Let me know if you're at all into that style.

Couple spots around lake Geneva still have some scotch left, and I think acorn in whitewater had both scotch and stout on shelf.

Has anyone heard from CW if they decided to make another run at Peruvian Morning this year?

Unless they are lying/hiding it, they said no at the brewery. People in line were chatting about it. It's currently discontinued and no verbalized plans to bring it back

I hope it's there next Thursday when I pass by. Is Riley's the place to shop at in Madison?

I cannot guarantee its accuracy, and have actually been misled by it before with this same exact store, beermenus.com says Flannery's II in Oconomowoc has CW BBS, BW and Peruvian Morning. I strongly suggest calling first.

I wonder if that's just a tacit admission that they still don't know what caused the infection and/or how to prevent it again.

In Madison hit Trixie's, Star, Alpine (Cottage Grove), Riley's, Woodman's... and there are a few more. Don't miss Liquor Central in Lake Delton, they often have TG longer than the Madison shops.
