Folks, if you're looking for an out of the way, unassuming and somewhat janky looking bottle shop with super-helpful staff and an amazing selection of rare beers? Check out Broadway Liquors in Pekin, Illinois. Just dropped in during my lunch hour, struck up a conversation with the owner about beer geekdom and was then hooked-up with Clown Shoes Pecan Porter (hard to find here), the last 2014 Beer Camp pack and a 4-pack of 2013 BCBS. Check it out. Totally worth it.

Apologies. I thought Central/Western Illinois fell more into the Midwest forum. My bad. And yes, going to Pekin isn't necessarily the most enjoyable trip, but the rewards make it pretty doable.
