Ceramic versus plastic swingtop lids

    So I just realized my 1L swingtop has a plastic, not ceramic, cap. Aside from my personal bias against plastic, is there any other reason why I should be looking for a replacement top immediately?

    Incidentally, beer is fine. Less than 24 hours since the fill and it's fantastic. So quality control wise there's not a problem.

    Both of mine are plastic. Havent noticed any off flavors or anything.
