Cereal Mash Needed w/ Decontion Mash

    Thinking about doing El Hefe, with Rahr unmalted wheat. Since 2/3 of the wheat won't see boil temps, do I need to first do a cereal mash?

    Maybe I'll have to do a second decoction.

    A cereal mash is about the same work as a decoctions.

    Wheat's geletanization temp is low, below 150F. You don't need to.

    That said, decoctions will give better mouthfeel according to some.
