Love it! Great on tap as was stated previously, better than in the bottle. The last two times I was at a local fish house that we like to eat at,where I always drink chain breaker,I ordered one and the waitress came right back and said it's going to be a few minutes we have to change that keg. So a least around here people like it........

If you can think about this way, I use Chainbreaker as a substitute for a Berliner Weiss. Yes, hot days usually call for IPAs, but sometimes, I want a slightly tart beer, but not a full on Consecration type sour and berliner weiss is that kind of beer. On tap yesterday at the Davis Beer Shoppe was Professor Fritz Briem 1809, nice. Other days, Blanche de Bruxelles, or Chainbreaker is a nice easy drinking refreshing beer.

Chainbreaker is an awesome beer. Deschutes is world class. They make some of the best "subtle" beers on the market. A lot of people are looking for that hop mouth ****, super sour, or extreme malt bomb. Deschutes makes those too but with a lot more balance, and as mentioned, making exquisite low abv beers.

I personally think its fantastic. Still has some nice IPA tones, but the smoothness of a Wit. Great warm weather, or session-type beer.

As I am not the biggest fan of IPA's or overly hoppy beers in general, there are a few that I enjoy. Chainbreaker is definitely one of them.
