My girlfriend works at a specialty grocery store and brought home some containers of discontinued dried chamomile and rose petals.

Both of these ingredients smell quite nicely with each other, but beer-wise, many aromatic components need to be filled in.

Can anyone more experienced with “special additions” maybe improvise at least a vague direction/style in which these ingredients may be suited best?

I want to use both ingredients. Saison or a tiny light-bodied ale of sorts come to mind.

It would be cool to see how people would/do riff on these additions.

They play really nicely with one another, and your beer will be VERY red.
I used them to really good effect in a brett.
You could look up a clone recipe for Revolutions Rosa, which uses both of them.
I've used them (and also Saffron, which is very pricey if don't have a person to source it from) to wonderful effect in a mixed fermentation saison.
Good luck. I will only add.
You will wish she got these to you back in April because the flavors scream drink me in the hot humid stank of summer.
