    No shit?

Holiday's release is tomorrow. I'm willing to wait in line for an hour, max.

We can only hope that Founders keeps a lot of that tripled production in Michigan next year. I'm supposed to have a 4 pack with my name on it out in the boonies but I'm not holding my breath.

How much was it per bottle? I've seen it in Ann Arbor for $9/bottle. Rough, but at least gettable.

My wife and I walked in at 10:30 and each grabbed our two bottles. Did some more shopping and by the time 11 rolled around it was all gone...people were pissed! I ended up talking to this guy and his buddy outside the store and he said people were buying two, dropping them off in their car and going back to get two more. His buddy got shut out getting there at 11. I felt bad so I ended up trading him two of my bottles for a bottle of 120 minute and a bottle of Sofie.

Yup I guess there were multiple people who left with 6 or more bottles. I got there at 11:00 and I was greeted with "it's all gone", which at the time I thought was a joke. Suck.

Sounds like I should just skip the release in GR next year and just hangout in the parking lot of Champanes with a few mules, a change of clothes and an electric trimmer. I should be able to get 2 cases easy, right?

I guess Champane's location didnt help either... I also saw pretty much an entire office thats next door walk over and take a "lunch break" to buy their share.

Damn, that sucks. I mean obviously that's not the case but it is getting damn crazy that you literally have to stalk distribution trucks, shipments and stores to get your hands on something.

Whatever office is next to that place must clean house.

"Oh, a rare beer came in - I'll go take a smoke break"

Obviously these special beer releases need to be organized better. Taking advantage of a 2 bottle limit by going in and out of a store seems a little obnoxious!

I can tell you that with the number of people in line at Champane's Wine Cellars no one got more than two bottles per person. Yes, quite a few did bring thier spouse, mother-in-law, mom, dad, friends...

I was surpised by the number of moms and mother in laws waiting in line to buy two bottles for thier son who had to work.
