    This seems like a good place to start.

    @Todd just wanted to take a moment and say that it was really nice meeting you and your brother at Mekong in Richmond, VA a couple of months back. You guys seemed really proud of this community and are excellent ambassadors for this industry. Cheers!

    Are we waiting for anything specific to initiate this?

    Just asking to see if we need agreement or clarification before moving ahead, since it's been silent in this thread for over 24 hrs.

    @JohnSnowNW I have a felling it I'd awaiting at least one more mod if not 2 seeing as @FATC1TY is the only one so far.

    I'm completely on board helping out here but I also think another mind helping would be great.

    @jbakajust1 is another great homebrewer involved in our community who if he has the desire, would be a good choice.

    I've been waiting for more people to chime in, but I think we're good.

    I can go over the mod responsibilities with you and @FATC1TY. You'll be limited to modding the Homebrewing forums, so it should be relatively easy. Just some house keeping here and there. Let me know if you're in.

    As for setting this all up, I'm off the clock right now. And we have a BA Social tomorrow. So maybe early tomorrow morning or Sunday.

    Perhaps have a spot in the format for recipes that have been entered into contests so their score can be included. Sort of a recipe rating

    So is everyone fine with the recipe posting template? These will not be form fields, but rather a suggested format for posting to create some consistency.

    ***
    Title Format:
    [Beer Name] - [Specific Style] - [AG or Extract]

    Message Format:
    [Name] (Bob's super stout)
    [Style] (American Stout)
    [Type] (all grain, mini-mash, extract)
    [Batch Size] (in gallons)

    [Efficiency Target] (if all grain)

    [Grain Bill] (include extract or steep grains here)

    [Hop Bill] (recommend asking for target IBU contribution for each addition OR quantity + alpha, and times)

    [Yeast]

    [Water]

    [Process] (any brewing notes, such as boil time, mash temps and length, etc).

    [Other Notes] (optional; for competition info, etc)

    ***

    The forum has already been created, general style prefixes entered, and the mods selected. Once we confirm the above we can essentially flip the switch and see where it goes.

    Seems good. I would add that if the beer has received an award, that should also be included in the title.

    I agree. I guess if we only consider BJCP awards, it could be made pretty simple.

    Or would we be talking a way for them to stand out in the title? Such as bolding the awarded titles, or an award symbol next to the title?
