Hey guys, I am curious how long cans have been lasting at releases.

I’ll be visiting Charleston from Sunday-wednesday and see they’ll have cans on Saturday. Chances they will last until Sunday?

The last IPA release lasted only 3 hours. For some reason, anything other than IPA seems to last quite a while. The imperial stout they did with Triple Crossing was possibly the best beer they've ever made, and that somehow lasted for weeks. To answer your question, they will probably have cans of something, but probably not any IPA.

EDIT: Just looked at the release, and being that it's only one beer, it may not be as crazy as some of the other releases. Maybe you'll get lucky!

The 3/31 release of three IPA's lasted until 3pm the next day, at least according to what I read on this forum. That's more than three hours.

I was there, so I can definitely confirm it sold out by 3pm the same day.

Ok, re-reading the post it was unclear what day they were referring to. Sounds like your'e right. I guess i was lucky. The one day i've spent in Charleston in the last 25 years, and I hit it on a day where CTF was having a three IPA can release.

Thanks for the input guys, guess we’ll just have to see. Worst case I get to have a few in the taproom

was there this past Sunday and all they had was a passionfruit gose in to go cans.

it's delicious, but no IPA's available. and tbh, i enjoyed the gose more anyway...

They do crowlers of all draft beers unless it’s special. Since this is mars express it might last. Last can release were two beers not done in cans before and it was Easter weekend (lots of out of town folks). I give it 60% chance they make it to next day. Message me if you want to trade.

I would say over 90% chance it'll be around on Sunday

This release isn’t super hyped. Even tho ddh mars express is probably one of the best beers they do IMO.
I think you should be fine to get some on Sunday. Either way you can crowlers of whatever they have so it’s absolutely worth the trip!

Thanks for all the responses guys, Pineapple Pallet Rider announced as an additional small canning run today so may be busier than anticipated.

I’ll be happy to get a couple crowlers when I visit tomorrow or Monday.

Pallet rider sold out while I was there (~130) but they still had mars express left. I don’t know how much was left so not sure it will make it to tomorrow but definitely possible.

I was there from 6-7pm and they still had Mars Express in the cooler (about 1/3 full). It wasn't moving fast at that point and I suspect that they'll have a few cases left at opening today.

Swung thru today, what a great experience. Excellent beers, great atmosphere. DDH Mars is delicious, pineapple pallet was better than I expected, Sungazer and Ralf were outstanding. Plenty of Mars cans remained. Cheers to the crew at CHSFermemtory
