I'm going to be in Charleston this weekend and was going to try and pick up a few beers that aren't distributed in NC. Specifically looking for Jester King, Anchorage, and Westbrook(seasonals/special releases). I looked on the Charleston Beer Exchange website and they really didn't have much from those three breweries in stock (outside of the year round Westbrook). Are those beers lingering in any bottle shop or am I wasting my time looking for them?

    Cheers!

Jester King and Anchorage are very limited here. Check out Bottles (Mt. Pleasant), House of Brews (Mt. Pleasant) and Total Wine.

Which Charleston? I kid, I kid.

On a serious notes, Total Wine had a few JK beers last time I was there, so if JK is specifically what you are looking for Id go there. They also tend to have the best prices on Westbrook regulars like Gose, One Claw and IPA.

Anchorage distributes through Shelton Bros so they would be just coming back to the state along with Jolly Pumpkin, Mikkeller and others.
