I recently moved into the area and I'm trying to find a good beer bar. I took a trip up to Greenville recently and went to a spot called Trappe Door, amazing Belgian beer list, but more importantly the atmosphere was right up my alley and I haven't found the same vibe yet in Charleston... Good beer list, kind of laid back, dark/warm atmosphere. If you have been to Trappe Door, I'm basically looking for anything similar to that in the area (doesn't have to be Belgian)... Just good beer and good/warm atmosphere. Lmk if anybody has any good recs.
https://thewhalecollective.com/charleston-sc/ Trappe Door is indeed amazing but, from my experience, you'd be hard pressed to find a place like that in Charleston that is also beer-focused at all. I could be wrong though and am interested to see how this thread plays out
