Good Afternoon, 1. Anything neat going on this weekend in Charleston? We're heading in from NC tomorrow for a long weekend. I'm not looking for information on best bars, etc... I pretty much know all that and I'm sure I can find loads of info in other posts if I need it. I'm just looking for any hot events this weekend, anywhere. 2. I've been to Charleston too many times to count, but I haven't spent much time in any of the nearby coastal towns. Any locals with recommendations? Thanks & Cheers!
The Brew Cellar = 10 tap rotation + good in and outdoor setting + better than most bottle selection than others thanks to them not blowing up social media with EVERY new arrivals + Commonhouse Ale Works opened next door! #IMO
Hi SC folk! I'm wondering if there are any fresh local releases anyone would recommend, anything new and delicious that my co-worker who doesn't necessarily know about beer might be able to pick up at your average bottle shop. I'm up in NY where we get some Westbrook, though the IPAs are usually at least a month old by the time they arrive. I know--it's a really vague question, but any pointers would be appreciated.
I scored full allotment this AM when they opened. Had about 3 cases left according to server. No line and one other guy bought some bottles while I was there. Ill be reviewing later this week. High expectations.
After lobster rolls & a couple Sungazers at 167 Raw, we made it to CTF on Saturday afternoon. Grabbed crowlers of Sungazer & Radio Burst. Wow, what a couple of great beers & a very nice tap room. You Charleston folks have a good thing going w/ CTF! Enjoy!
