Gonna be in the Charleston (IOP specifically) in the next few weeks. Definitely trying to get my hands on anything from Westbrook. But with my kids with us I think a brewery visit is out of the question. Is it hard to find in bottle shops or package stores? Or do I have to go to the brewery? Any other suggestions other than Westbrook to be looking out for?

I was in Charleston a few weeks ago and highly recommend stopping at Charleston Beer Exchange. I am pretty sure they had Westbrook Gose and other Westbrook beers. If not, they have a great selection and really nice people who can point you in the right direction.

Charleston has several breweries, they are all good. The bar and restaurant scene is one of the best anywhere. My favorite place to drink beer is The Griffon English Pub on Vendue Lane.

House of Brews and Beer Exchange both have good selections and you can sit and drink at the HoB. 8 Rotating taps always with good shit.

Beer bars - HoB, Closed for Business, Coleman Public House, and 100% do not miss Edmund's Oast

Breweries to hit Revelry, Coast, Westbrook, Tradesman, Freehouse, Holy City

And don't forget the Total Wine out in the West Ashley - biggest selection of bottles in town, including all local breweries. Growlers too!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned craft conundrum. It's a beer bar.

I was in Charleston a few weeks ago and I had a blast there. They have around 90 taps and I had some great beers - including Mexican Cake - and took back growlers of La Folie and Grapefruit Sculpin (I don't get Ballast Point in KY). I follow them on twitter and it seems they keep a solid list, which is on beermenus.com
