    I am so sorry. For the record I didn't even remember that there was a Charleston, WV. Now I will never forget. :grinning:

    Thanks for all of the responses. I am pretty excited to hit up Charleston again. I love that town.

    Craft beer in Charleston SC is CERTAINLY on par with Paris and Denver, given its size. Have you ever been to Charleston SC?

    A good number of suggestions here for the Charleston area (city of Charleston and Charleston County). If you get stuck in places outside of the Charleston area like Moncks Corner or Goose Creek, just drive past that mess and go to World of Beers in Columbia lol.

    Sorry to revive this thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

    Should I go to Holy City or Coast if I can only go to one? I was leaning towards going to Coast because - Holy City looks like the better bar, Coast looks like the better beer. Is that right?

    That is an accurate assumption. COAST is THE BEST beer in Charleston. Their distribution isn't what Westbrook's is, but their beer is awesome. They are the OG for good craft in Charleston and Jamiey is the one who spearheaded the SC Pop the Cap. If you don't go there, you're missing out.

    Holy City is a better bar. So is Palmetto. But you are here to enjoy beer, and COAST kills it with every style they brew.
