Look forward to going there next time in Charleston. Food looks great as well as the beer.

Life changing no. Really, really, really good? Yes. Life changing is a bit much

Did we have the same sandwich?

Only sandwich I get from them, but definitely not life changing. Only the best thing about my day on really shitty days. It is of course, just a sandwich, tasty as it may be.

Yes I've had it multiple times. I already said it is extraordinarily good, but not life changing

Pretty sure I know what you did, better than you do! Must have read it wrong. You could imagine what it would be like if you did though (Chris Farley reference).

My life changing sandwich is the Cubano at Tropical Kitchen Express in Goose Creek. I go there every Wednesday to get it. Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had, including what I got in Calle Ocho.

Goose Creek? Can't say I ever venture up there.

The sandwich is worth it, our Wednesday dinner plans are set for a long time. It's on the Charleston side of Goose Creek, so it's not too bad for folks coming up the hill. They have good food in general. I took one of my Hawaiian athletes here, she said it was THE BEST food she's had since she's been here. The mofongo is top notch as well.

Not sure a hawaiian athlete is going to be the most discerning food critic, especially when someone else is buying... That having been said, spam musubi would be an awesome late night bar snack... But craftsmen would probably charge $12 for 2 pieces. Cfb could stand to update their food menu, but do they read this?

Yeah, that's true. You know of the spam musubi? My wife makes a great one with furikake seasoning on the sticky rice. I never had spam until I went to Hawai'i. Didn't think it was as bad as some people say. Could be a big hit at C4B. I would gladly show them the hawaiian style spam musubi.

Maybe C4B would do loco moco sliders too, that would be awesome

Here's the Cuban that will change your life... if you like good food. I can only eat one half in a sitting, and I'm a big boy. You get the sandwich and fries for $8, damn good price.

Chicharrones de Pollo aka Puerto Rican fried chicken, also phenomenal, especially with a dash of the mojo. You get the chicken, peas and rice, and a roll for $6.

Supposedly the guy running it was a chef at some major restaurant in San Juan, PR. I believe it, never had a bad meal there. You get some good stuff for cheap if you venture up to the north area.
