Flying into Charlotte for 1 day in Jan for a work related meeting. Staying close to the airport and won't have much free time, anything of note in that area? Bottle shops, breweries, bar with decent draft list?

Brawleys, Olde Mecklenburg brewery, Duckworths. There's ur free time. All within the "general vicinity" of the airport off of Woodlawn.

Good Bottle is about the same distance too. But pretty much what @NoMoreBeerBelly said.

Hop, Drop 'n' Roll if you haven't had before, and NoDa just released CoCo Loco in cans, which is a pretty good beer. I've also really enjoyed Triple C's Up All Night, both the regular and bourbon barrel aged, as well as their The Dude Imbibes. Wicked Weed typically has beers on tap at some of the bottle shops. I'm also a huge fan of Fonta Flora Brewing and Haw River Brewing, and they have beers that find their way to Charlotte as well.
