My wife and I are visiting my sister in law February 18-21 in downtown charlotte from south Florida. I have two full days of no kids and full brewery participation planned
    I need recommendations, pretty please.
Any other recommendations on things to do see eat would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Brewery wise it is pretty easy:
Day 1 - Red Clay (if you like ciders), Olde Meck, Sugar Creek, Triple C, Sycamore, Lenny Boy, Wooden Robot, Unknown
Day 2 - Birdsong, Free Range, Heist, Salud (1bbl nano + bottle shop), and Noda Brewing.

Each day has its own side of town, easily accessible by light rail (with some walking) and/or Uber. Lots of bottle shops and beer bars along the way as well (Brawleys, Good Bottle, Salud, Craft, Bulldog, Brass Tap, etc)

That will cover most everything brewery related. If you have just a few stops I would recommend: Wooden Robot, Olde Meck, Sycamore (if its nice enough to be outside), Triple C, Birdsong and Noda. Most all of our breweries make something good. Some more than others.

To see? Ehh, we are more a "good place to live, ok place to visit". February is tough. Can be cold as balls or mid 60's. The Whitewater center is our coolest feature but there won't be a lot going on out there in February.

Since you are coming from S. FLA and might have not seen a forest or mountains in a while (and if you have warm clothes), take a hike up Crowders Mountain. Its about 20 minutes from downtown and offers some spectacular views of Charlotte from the top. About 5.5m round trip (3 hours with my 9 year old in tow). Its fine in sneakers.

You can catch quite a few great breweries, restaurants etc via the light rail. Three Spirits being new and on the southern end, duckworths and the cellar being on the northern end. Probably 10-15 great stops in between. Of couse, a Charlotte without a stop at Brawley's beverage

I haven't seen Heist listed on here, so I'll throw that into the list for Day 2. It's right down the street from Salud. When you're over at salud and looking for food, stop at Cabo Fish Taco and get the grilled Mahi Mahi tacos. Thank me later.

Oops, completely missed Heist in that second day. My apologies. Get the Hip Hop Marmalade or Brunch Junkie. Cabo Fish Taco is still a must.
