I will be in Charlotte for work for a few days this week. I will be in the Lake Norman area, staying in Birkdale Village to be specific. I will have a car but not tons of time. It has been about 7-8 years or so since I've been to Charlotte but I am familiar with most of the consensus spots in the city. Wanted to see if there was anything near where I will be staying worth while.
Your best bets in the Birkdale area are probably Brixx (walkable) and H2 (will have to drive), both have a solid selection of locals and good food. Crafty Beer Guys (will have to drive) is also a good call here.
