    This is probably a better question for the New England forum, where I am sure there are many people who would be happy to make suggestions. I'm particularly partial to Notch. They have a nice outdoor space and are putting out some of the best lagers in the country. This is the anti-top 250 answer though.

    Likely unpopular opinion, TreeHouse Hazy beers taste nearly all the same and do not deserve so many spots on top 250. There I said it, fight me.

    With that said, ISO TreeHouse Beers for trade :slight_smile:

    Someone keeps retiring this beer and mods keep allowing it. It was just released December 2024…. @Todd can mods have a better system of verifying a beer is retired rather than just taking someone’s word? This is the second or third time it’s been “retired” recently.

    Could be because this doesn't look like a newly-brewed release, but rather a very limited, taproom-only, release of a previous batch that they were sitting on (sold out quickly). If that was the case, the beer should remain retired unless it's brewed again.

    I’ve been stuck at 247/350 for the Popular list for quite a while now.

    Russian River Pliny the Younger (had once before I started rating/reviewing)
    Founder’s Curmudgeon (not sure this is even made anymore)
    Goose Island Honker’s (supposed available nationwide but have yet to find it in NC)

    Looking over that list gets my mouth watering!
    I see a few I’ve had before joining Beer Advocate and didn’t review. :disappointed
    I guess I’ll need to enjoy them again . :yum:

    I used to try to chase down the top 250, it became addicting. I spent a fortune on Ups and FedEx just to try something new. It got to the point where I had to just delete my account and start a new one, so I wasn’t tempted to start trying new stuff on the top 250. I discovered a lot of great beers, but now just try trading for my favorite beers or I drink local.

    I got sick of telling my friends, “this beer is number #_ _ _ on the top 250 list” , cringing looking back. If I were to complete the list, it would have change shortly after and nobody I knew would give a shit. It’s the most unrewarding accomplishment know to man….
