I am going to visit a friend at the end of June in Chat. I am thinking about heading down to Madison to check out Blue Pants one day. Any other cool breweries or beer bars I need to check out while I am out there?
Madison, AL is about 100 miles south west of Chattanooga. Wish You Were Beer is in Madison and is a very reputable beer store. You'll also pass through Huntsville on the way and Straight to Ale Brewery are Below the Radar brewpub are both popular spots.
I thought Wish You Were Beer was in Huntsville for some reason. It is a great place. Ask for Jedi. In Chatty, check out Chattanooga Brewing's new tap room. Cool place and good food, although the beer could be a bit better. Then take time out and head to Beverage world in Ft. Oglethorpe
I second the Beverage World in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. Right across the state line but you can get loads of stuff not offered in Tennessee.
Have a Weedy's Double IPA while at Blue Pants...a really good hopbomb. I've sent them out to the guys I regularly trade with and they all really enjoyed it.
Thank you all. I was able to check out Blue Pants Brewery, Sigler's Beer Store, Big River Brewing, Beerhaus, Wish you were Beer, Below the Radar, Beverage World. I had a blast and got some good haul.
