What's up guys? The wife and I are headed over to Chattanooga today for 2 nights. I'm wondering if y'all might be so kind as to give us some brewery recommendations, as well as a few nice dinner spots to try? Any help is appreciated.
Chattanooga has come a long ways in terms of beer in the last few years. I'd recommend any of these breweries: Heaven & Ale, Five Wits, OddStory, Hutton & Smith, and Naked River.
It's been a while since I've been to Chattanooga, seems like last time there weren't any breweries to physically visit. Based on their beer alone, I would recommend Hutton and Smith. I have yet to find a disappointing beer from them.
Thanks buddy. We drank a lot of Hutton and Smith around town. Went to Naked River and we were not disappointed. They had some real good beers. Staff was really helpful and incredibly welcoming
Going to be driving through Memorial Day weekend, anything worth pulling off of 75 to grab some to go beer? I love everything but sours. TIA! Cheers
Most local breweries package now, so they all have to-go options. If you're looking for the best selection though, I'd head to Beverage World in Ft. Oglethorpe. Not far off I-75.
Also off of Lee Highway at the light before Food City, turn right coming into Lee Highway going north, and there's a good liquor/beer store. Also, with Naked River, get their Moon Pie stout, it is one of the best of the genre you'll ever drink from anybody.
Looks like the boss lady and I need to make a run to Chattanooga - haven't been there since US Pipe closed a while ago.
