I saw a thread from 2021 but it’s now locked. But that’s a long time in beer anyways so I wanted to seek out some recommendations. I’m heading down to run a race this weekend but have plenty of time for brewery and beer bar fun on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Any recommendations? We like all styles but prefer IPA’s. Looking for places for that, cool spots/vibes, and also places that are beer focused where we can still watch football. Thanks!
I think you’d like OddStory. Great vibe, good beer. There are two locations - I prefer the brewery over the greenhouse. Five Wits and Cherry Street are also good. I visit those 3 all the time when I go in. Pax Breu Ruim is a place to consider as it’s a hidden gem - it’s a really cool, funky taproom with different beers from all over. For sports, I’d say maybe Five Wits and Cherry Street. I don’t think the other two even have TVs. Naked River is definitely sports themed, and the food is good. Beer is ok, so maybe consider them too? Don’t forget to cross over into GA and go to Beverage World. They get all kinds of beer to buy there, like Veil, Other Half, etc. Cheers!
