I'd like to land one of the HF BA saisons, and Flora (750ml) seems like the most attainable. I was considering offering a Cherry Rye 1:1. Is this way off? Would I have to sweeten the deal with something else?

Not really sure what the trade value is for Cherry Rye. I've been sitting on a bottle for a while now and intended to drink it, but if I can get something like Flora, Art or Ann, I'd give it up in a heartbeat.

I doubt that 2x Cherry Rye could even pull Flora at this point.. but what do I know?

Maybe try for Le Sarrasin? I think that might be obtained with Cherry Rye.

Le Sarrasin would be nice to try, but doesn't fit into my grand plan of a tasting which includes Arthur, Anna and Florence alongside their barrel-aged counterparts. I realize I have a lot of work to do to make this a reality.

Flora is one of the least attainable and yes its way off IMO but I've known to be wrong on several occasions.

Least attainable out of Art, Ann and Flora? Or just generally least attainable for a HF beer?

ah, somehow missed the obvious. Out of those 3 I'm not sure, def more attainable than Ann but not sure about Art. I still don't think a Cherry Rye is even close unfortunately.

They're all pretty dang unattainable at this point. I wish it were otherwise but Cherry Rye is not close to landing any of them 1:1.

For reference I traded a bottle of Flora for HF E. x4. 1:4. And I had more people interested but closed a deal with the first person that responded

I would have done that in a heart beat. Been offering things like Appreciation + Beat b5 + Luminous and getting crickets. Would take quite a few Cherry Ryes I think.

I would say E. Trades 1:1 with Cherry Rye (guessing) so Cherry Rye x4 should land a Flora ? However I'd rather drink HF than trade it. Honestly the only time I trade HF is for HF.

Ann is clearly the most difficult of the 3 mentioned to land. Art is likely next since it's been so long since it was last released and the batches were considerably smaller back then. So that would technically make Flora the easiest of the 3, but it is by no means easy to land.

The good news is fresh batches of all 3 are likely to be released over the next 4-6 months, so they may be easier to obtain soon.

Thanks for the responses. When the time came, the offer would probably end up being Cherry Rye + a bunch of de Garde or Upright stuff, based on my proximity to beer anyone cares about. And my unwillingness to trade away beer I traded for .

Yes this is true its good news for the OP, and he should certainly wait until they are re-released if he wants any shot at Ann. However, easier will be relative here, obviously we dont know bottle limits yet but pretty safe to say Ann will still trade QUITE high, probably above bb flora, i.e. way above cherry rye.

Exactly, that's why I italicized the "may" in my response. For sure none of them will be easy, that's pretty much all we know.
