Chicago Beer Lovers: Next Event Date

This should be a great way to tune up for FoBAB

 

What will the process for selection be if you have more than 35-40 RSVPs? I think its awesome you are setting this up but the last few events have drawn a crowd larger than 40 partakers. Maybe the Thur date will help out. Cheers and hope I can make it.

 

typically at the old events there were a lot of industry people who wouldn't show up to an event if it was solely advertised on ba. I'm sure Chris would spare them from this event.

 

OK, Here's we go! The details on the beer share:

Date: Nov 7th
Time: 8:00pm - 12:00am
Location: The Beer Temple

I'm inviting BAs to the store for a bottle share. This will be a test run, so for now I'm keeping it relatively small.
To RSVP, send me a Beer Mail with the subject "Beer Share". Include your name and your email and I'll add you to the list.

It's as simple as that. I'm opening this up to BA's first, and later I'll add other people if needed. You must be confirmed as on the list to attend. In other words, no +1's. Sorry, but for now that's how it's gotta be - at least this time. Please don't make me turn your friend away at the door and look like a jerk.

That's about it. Looking forward to a fun time. I figure we'll order Pork Shoppe or pizza or something, and just have some good beers.

Chris - awesome that you're doing this. As it's a "school" night, I'm going to have to pass, though already jealous about what goodies/folks will be missed.

But if you do want to buy it from me (no need I promise - get it wherever you like) please come early to make your purchases. I can't start selling stuff during the share. 1 min before...no problem!

I don't think you should worry about it. Looks like there will be plenty of great stuff. No one is gonna want to make you feel bad for what you bring.
