Chicago Beer Question

    Hey all, quick question for you all. My brother's sister-in-law lives in chicago and is coming back to ohio in a couple weeks. She asked me if there was anything I wanted her to get me and was just wondering what i should have her look for that i cant get here in ohio? thanks in adavance

    Daisy Cutter! Also highly recommend a growler from Haymarket (Angry Birds Belgian IPA, Mathias III DIPA, Aleister IPA, Defender Double Stout, etc)

    Oh god Mathias... so fucking good. Great suggestion. Beside his comments, I'd say Pipeworks is solid stuff and NvU is great.

    Oh shit! Dude thats sweet! If you haven't cracked your KBS yet I'm going to bring a bottle for sharing so you could try it relatively fresh and see if you think it would benefit from age. If you have already had it then you can see how it tastes with a couple more weeks of age on it haha

    Lol oh yeah I cracked that KBS the night I got it, I was really excited. A couple more weeks of age sounds good though! I'm debating between bringing growler of Anti-Hero or busting out a Juliet for people... but I might just do both.

    I'd totally love a couple ounces of Juliet. I cut back on my beer budget to save for DLD so Juliet and Lolita had to come and go. Oh well, C'est Le Vie

    Great thread. I'm pretty new to the craft beer scene and I hadn't heard of Haymarket. Definitely need to check that out soon.
