Hey Guys! My girlfriend is going to Chicago for a Bachelorette party the weekend of 4/20, and I was hoping to make her bring me home some beers (to LA). The problem is that she's not very good at following directions, so I can't give her a list of names and ask her to pick them up. Are there any stores in Chicago where I can order online and have her or one of her friends pick them up so that she can bring them back with her? I checked out West Lakeview Liqours and they don't seem to have anything in stock as of right now. Her friend lives in Wrigleyville, if that makes things any easier. Thanks! Reza
If you're doing a local pick-up, i'd imagine most stores could arrange to make an advance order by phone. West Lakeview is well stocked with beer, despite what the website says. Inventory changes daily so calling ahead is your best bet.
You can go to the Binny's website and order from there: http://www.binnys.com/index.cfm If her friend lives in Wrigleyville then it would make sense for you to place your order with the Chicago-Lakeview store (3000 N Clark). The problem with online ordering is that rare or limited release items typically don't show up on their website. Customer service, however, can't be beat at Binny's - if you have any additional requests after placing your order, don't hesitate to call the store directly to see if anything can be arranged.
