Chicago bottle share?!?

Hey!! Thanks for keeping me in mind! I'm in Tinley Park. Not sure if I could make it downtown right now; especially with the new job. It's like I always have an excuse. Right @blue-dream ? Someday, my fellow BA's. I do get tired of drinking awesome beer alone. I will watch this thread.

 

I'm on the north side and would be interested in something, depending on schedule...it can be hard with kids' schedules, etc. I'll keep an eye on this to see what develops - thanks for bringing it up.

 

Hey Keith. What about a week nite like Thursday? I'm married so usually I don't go out with the guys on Fridays or Saturdays and leave the wife at home.

Keep in mine that Gentiles isn't exactly South Loop. University Village/ Little Italy with easy access to the blue line.

We have had a couple shares at my house at 15th and State and one up in Andersonville, so the title of the thread that @uiucphoenix linked to should really be changed to just Chicago and not South Loop.

Anyway, hope some of yall can make it next Saturday and definitely hit Nick up and get your name on the spreadsheet if you can.

 

@AndyEdgar, yep it is a bit of a misnomer. We really do meet up whenever and wherever there are people that want to share some good beers. It just happens that Gentile's lets us use their space to host on a regular basis.

 

Would love to get involved in one of these some time.

 

What sort of beer y'all bring? As in like whalez or common stuff like fresh squeezed, zombie, etc....

 

Anyone in the west burbs is always invited to our bottle share at Niche in Geneva every Wednesday night. We usually bring some great shit, so come ready to rock. The bottle list there is insane as well so if you don't have anything awesome to share, feel free to buy a bottle (half price on Wednesdays!) from the list.

The food there is fucking great as well.

The beer list there now is absolutely insane, the menu has been revamped and features many beer-friendly, yet still upscale and artfully made small plates. You're gonna love the bottleshare at Niche. If not, you're first beer is on me, and I don't even work there.

 

Can vouch for the Niche share. I only went a few times because of my schedule, but everyone was extremely welcoming and had some cool stuff to share.
