Today I saw More Brewing is doing a shamrock stout. Someone needs to do a side-by-side with the recent GI release.

"Our Franconian-inspired house beer, coolship-hopped with Tettnang."

Sounds good to me. Hope this one sees some local distro. And Happy 10th to Dovetail.

This beer is starting to appear out in distribution for those interested. Picked up a 4 pack and enjoyed it very much.

Met up with a buddy over at One Lake Brewing in Oak Park over on Lake St and Austin. One of more underrated breweries in the near west 'burbs. Space is great (old bank building) with two levels inside and great rooftop patio.
Food menu is solid with everything from apps, burgers and a few higher end offerings. Of course there's the beer which is more traditional like lagers and pils (Austin Lager is great btw). But they also brew up some their Czar BA Stout and even seltzers.

Roaring Table Red Bird Bitter on cask at Beer on the Wall Elmhurst. Guess it is their take on Blue Bird Bitter, though I think if it as a homage to the Illinois State Redbirds:grin:

Really well done and worth seeking out!
