Chicago Breweries

I know that I've seen some other regions/cities that have a "main" thread that gives an overview of the major spots to hit for bars/breweries/bottle shops. It doesn't necessarily get "stickied" to the top, but it gets commented on frequently enough that it's nearly always on the front page, and I think some of them even do new threads seasonally (i.e. Summer 2016, Winter 2016-2017, etc.) so it can be fresher.

I do like having the updates being made to the threads so as a new place opens (Bitter Pops, as an example), it can be brought into the fold.

An of course, I said it's usually on the first page due to updates...and then found it on the 3rd page. However, we could just refer folks to that thread whenever a new topic gets brought up, and the ongoing conversation & updates can be kept in there. I've thought about doing this myself, but then I'm never really motivated enough to do it (and suffer the backlash from people who said I didn't include the "best" brewery/bar/bottle shop in the initial summary ).
